weekend antenatal class & check up

haiihh sad but true, not a single photo were captured during our antenatal class. Too focused, mayb? excited sgt... met a few familiar faces since it was held at Residence Hotel, Bangi... pusing2 org bangi jugak la yg i jmpe... hubby and I agreed that the class was interesting n worth going... especially for first-timers like us.. mmg most of the participants were first-timers except for a few yg mayb tak berkesempatan pg dulu... so saje2 attend... we gained so much info, we dont even realized we never knew it b4 ;) all the talks and trainings were conducted by specialist and reputable speakers... the sessions i love the most were the breathing technique during labor class and breastfeeding class! and now., i've started practicing... berlatih2 breathing, and umm.. breastfeeding? ahahahha. no la.

Breathing techniques;

ade 2 stages. one is during contractions... and the other one is tym kite nk pushh... best sgt got to do it w our partner... and the main thing to bare in mind is to remain focus all the tym... and relax... kalau panic.. breathing technique ntah ke mane, push nye ntah ke mane... uhhh... i think i need a lot of practice... since i am the gelabah type.. huhu.. n yeah of course, i want a normal natural labor please... no injections, no gases, no epidurals, no vacuum, no forceps... pleasee!!! and ape tah lagi c-section, no please!!! pray for me ppl.

Breastfeeding technique;

the speaker was very funny. she's a chinese mualaf.. shared her own experience breastfeeding her children. siap bwk a fake breast lagi to show example.. cute! she taught a very detailed effective technique to breastfeed. n mmg tekankn sgt2 how important breastfeeding is... mmg i dh psg niat from the very beginning, n hopefully i wil hv no problem to breastfeed my baby as maximum as i could... ameen....

i got nervous evrytym we're goin for check ups... it just freaked me out to hear somethng bad... especially about my weight ke... which leads to high blood pressure ke... kencing manis ke..., the baby's condition ke... cuak tau, it makes my heart beating fast... but alhamdulillah, the last check up went pretty well.. i gained another 0.9kg in 2weeks... and now the baby weighs 2.3kgs already! thank God. she seems sehat.. and every part of the baby grows normally... except for her face yg agak sedih tym ultrasound... it made me worry la.. b4 check up we grabbed some icecream from a nearby store, daddy mkn magnum tak kasik mommy sket, i think dats y baby cebekkk... she wanted to taste some.. n taksuke mommy's yogurt icecream... haha... i think dat makes sense! it's daddy's fault! ;P
