Yesterday morning, i received an SMS from hubby saying that one of his schoolmate meninggal dunia. innalillahi wainna ilaihi raji'un... semoga rohnya dicucurkan rahmat dan tergolong antara orang-orang yang beriman.. ameen..

It was a shocking news for me. apetah lagi my hubby and all his schoolmates kan... Eventhou i tak bape kenal, but i bumped into her a few times during college, since dia pn utm juga (faculty electric) n was staying in kolej9 juga. and when megat came for lunch, terjumpa.. he did introduce me to her... a few weeks ago, she just added us on facebook.. and we juz viewed her profile and talked about how cute her daughter is... her daughter dah agak besar tak sure how old... mayb almost two kot or two plus.... and she was pregnant with her second baby... 7 months or so... yeah... hubby said that she had difficulties to breathe time tido.. i was thinking mayb she had asthma or smethng.. tp tatau la kan... dah ajal di usia muda.. yang i terpk tu, perasaan her husband and the daughter yg tak sempat btul2 knal her mother.... sebaknye rasa... since i pn ada family, i did put myself in her shoes... bayangkan.. leaving zara all alone... with hubby... watching them from high above... hmmm... :((( takleh bayang la sbnanye..... alamak bergenang airmata i... noooo! :( tapi semua tu ketentuan Ilahi... dia ada planning yang terbaik untuk kita semua... bila dah sampai masanya... semua orang akan meninggalkan dunia yang fana ini...

the night before we received the news... baru cakap2 pasal nak tukar waris insurans la ape la.. since my insurance ni start frm college tym dulu... i put my parents name as penama.. now kene ada allocation untuk zara la kan... and malam tu, huby pasang yassin e-quran kat laptop cfah plak.... aleh2 the next day ada berita kematian... sape2 yang terbaca post ini, marilah sama2 kita sedekahkan al-fatihah dan bacaan yassin untuk arwah Suhieda Sukiman...

Peringatan untuk kita yang masih hidup: ibadah dah cukup ke?? pastinye tidak untuk saya... dosa yang menggunung tinggi ada... sudah bersediakah kita untuk bertemu dengan-Nya? sesungguhnya bersedia ataupn tidak.... masa kita akan tiba juga.... ajal memang tak mengenal usia....

5 days ago, zara turned 7 months... she had a very bad fever on that day... so i sgt2 takde mood to post an entry about her... duk kt ofis pn tak senang duduk... hr tu temperature zara mmg naik turun naik turun... gune thermometer strip mothercare yg tak bape accurate tu... at one point dah cecah 40deg. the nex day zara demam, huby amek half day leave... me, on the other hand tak dpt nk cuti bcuz i hav urgent things to be settled at the office... (i mean wats more urgent than ur sick baby?) tp... tu la... life's like that.. sometimes dah memang tak boleh elak... and thank God hubby is willing to take leave... relieved jugak la... at least sum1 i trusted was thr to look after zara... on friday.. zara dah okey.. temperature normal... and die nmpk bertenaga sket... alhamdulillah...

so many things are goin on... hr tu i ckp nk beli smethng like a walker ke jumper ke for her... tapi tak sempat pg lagi.. now weekends mesti ade kenduri yg tahap jauh2 semua... tak sempat bershopping i k... wpn YES! huhu. weekend ni blk penang lagi insyaAllah, my cousin's wedding... as zara's 7months prezie... mommy n daddy tried to get her familiar w her loveyyy teddy. actually dah lame daddy belikn, before zara lahir lagi... die kate nk kasik hadiah kat zara.... nak jadikan teddy ni her favorite one.... so tido pn we let her hug the teddy... bt its still hard to tell whether she likes it or not... hehe :) sabar ye syg.... we'll find somethng for you... (oh my God, nk beli jumperoo... pleeeease! huhu)

adalah hari jadi saya yang ke-25

kronologi gambar yg terbalik... layan je la k. leceh nk tukar2 position gambar ni.. hehe. so yes, i turn 25 today. perasaan? tak rase tua langsung k (perasan mode). cume, cume, cume... a few things are bugging me currently..so mcm tak excited sgt celebrating my 25th birthday. ma n ba pula are in india.. so wish dari jauh je... huhu.. and blk dr kedah yesterday.. mata i merah sakit mata... berjangkit from 2 of hubby's aunties which are my aunties as well la kan... sibaik dah ok.. n i have a very ugly chapped lips.. eeskk... it's all bcuz of my allergy problem yg dtg dan pergi sesuke hati :( blk2 je dr kedah mlm tu.. (takde la mlm).. we arrived at 3.30am... joy and ahmad sambut w a rich hazelnut cheese filling with roasted hazelnut crust cake... hm.. yumm.. xtraordinarily tasty okey! tapi takde gmbr.. selekeh gile i.. lg pn mate merah... hehe.. thnx joy n amad... n hubby who was behind all these.. hehe.. thnx a million... tak sangke... ;p

so what did i get for my 25th bday? ngeheeehe... hubby macam tak kasik i kecoh2.. so i senyap je la.. thnx a bunch hubby... i sukeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee sgt sgt sgt... muahsx.. luv u gazillionssss.... :) and yes thnks for d dner treat... eventhou i sgt comot.. bcuz ingtkn nk pg dekat2 je... hehe... rupenye jauh sket dr umah... kalau tak mesti i pg shopping dress ke ape ke... hehehe... dah lame teringin nak makan kt victoria's station... tapi tak penah2 pg.. tup tup huby bawak.. yeayy... thnk u.. ditemani anakku sayang zara yang yang yang.. super duper active... sume bende nak tarik k... bahaye... dah ade budak kecik ni takleh bawak pg proper dining... die tarik table cloth... and cube tarik my drink.... lepas tu tendang dner table smpai bergerak 20cm gak kot... aiyark... tapi tetap comel. i dun mind. :)

problem @ work

Work is killing me now.. I feel like giving up.. Things aint going my way.. I guess Im just unlucky this time.. People are being so mean.. :( Oh im so demoralized... I feel so discouraged by the magnitude of this problem.. I need someone to make me laugh, while sipping a hot caffe latte.. at least i can forget about this for a while... :(

takde kene mengena dengan gambar kn? anyway, how do you like my new sunnies? do i look so rempit (no offense all mat/minah rempits) wearing it? please la puji k.. im having a hard time :((((

walker: to buy or not to buy?

i am very very confused whether to buy zara a walker or not... article in babycenter said that it's not advisable to do so.... "putting a baby in a walker is like giving a teenager a ferrari - a dangerous risk".... is it so??? how? i read in the forum that the concern is about the safety of the baby while in the walker. and another concern is the 'seated-stand position' that makes the hips dont line up naturally... and walkers might actually delay walking because of the way the baby moves in it... here i found another useful article... click here and learn the facts.... hm.... but yeah, millions of mommies used walkers for their baby kn? and takde plak we see hips problem... hehe.... i also read somewhere that the right tool to train our baby to walk is to let them use these kind of walkers...

because the baby can only use these kind of walkers when they are really really ready to walk... tulang dah kuat... and all... but still... im not sure about it....

hmmm... or should i buy an exersaucer or a jumper instead??? these are a few...

exersaucers and jumpers are very useful in order to get the baby occupied. plus it comes with lotsa toys... and it is static... so we do not have to worry about the baby's safety.

so now..... decision has to be made... i planned to buy zara her 7-month old present.. ngehehe.. to buy the conventional walker?? or the independant walker? if beli independant walker, 9-10months nti baru boleh guna... so kene KIV dulu. is it too late for an exersaucer? or a jumper? bcuz babies usually around 1 year old plus minus (insyaAllah) dh boleh jalan kn.. if beli now.. ade dalam 5months untuk gune.. worth buying or not??? wehehehe... how? how? how? what say u people?? please please please advice.... thanks in advance :)

5 expensive baby related product i don't regret buying:

1) First Years Sleep Positioner: which i called zara's minicrib... bought it for RM169 kalau tak silap. consider mahal gak bcuz pkai since zara newborn until 3months plus je... but i must say, berbaloi beli bcuz it's very handy... and portable... so if pg mane2 pn boleh bwk so that our baby ade tempat utk landing... mlm2 plak we can just put that thing beside us atas katil tym zara baru lahir. takde la risau takut tertindan on her very tiny body pulak kn.... :)
2) Mothercare Crib Mobile: with three choices of song; lullaby, nursery rhyme, and classic. ade lampu2 colourful.. and ade 4 animals hanging and pusing2 and they go up and down... around rm200 tak silap i... if kite dah letih singing her lullaby songs to put her to sleep, this mobile crib will help me w dat. zara sgt suke.. gelak2 tgk the lights and now dah pndai click the on button sendiri.. OMG.
3) Medela Breastpump + bottles + accessories: hubby bought medela mini electric, d cheapest for medela's range kot kecuali manual pump la. but mahal la kire jugak kn for me.. around rm600plus in total. as a careerwoman, single pump ni ade jugak kelemahannye bcuz time consuming and once i pump one side, the other side will leak like crazy...haha banjir.. rugi2.. sebaik zara ni tak minum susu byk sgt.. but for my 2nd baby (konon2 nak anak lelaki) i'll definitely go for medela freestyle. :)
4) Fisher Price Aquarium Swing: bought for Rm499. battery operated, ade function yg the baby bole control the song sendiri, which can keep zara occupied time bibik buat kerja... boleh control the speed and volume. suitable for daytime usage....
5) BabyBjorn Baby Carrier Synergy: ini mmg berbaloi baloi... simply bcuz it helps a lot lot lot.. tym pg kenduri, tym pg makan2 kt luar, and especially tym berjalan2... zara jarang skali moody when she's in her babybjorn. she looks comfy in it. and selalu tertido kalau jln2 dgn babybjorn.. it's now daddy's bestfriend.. :) oh ye, this one is RM649.

5 cheap baby related product i don't regret buying:

1) Drypers diapers: alryte, i've been thought that the rule of thumb to buy diapers for your baby is... try with the cheapest one first, and if ur baby is okey with dat one.. continue using it... Okey means takde rashes problem ke, skin irritation ke ape ke kn... so we tried drypers.. not the cheapest.. moderate la kn... and she seems fine in it... gune je la.. :)
2) Mothercare Carseat: this carseat tak smpai rm300 pn... tapi sgt membantu... we not only use it as a carseat, we even use this when we went out to the restaurant n zara ade possibility utk tido... and if dlm kete die tertido, we'll juz bring the whole thing into the house.. and if terjaga pula... it can be used as a rocker... to buai zara to sleep again... :)
3) Branded clothes, accessories and etc bought from F.O.S and Brands Outlet and Shopblog: yep yep yep, definitely tak regret langsung... cheap, high in quality, and cantikkkk and stylo. tu yg penting. haha. love them all!
4) Ikea babycot and bedding set + canopy: murah tak smpai rm800 pn for the whole thing... adjustable babycot.. attractive bedding sets and canopy... :)
5) Johnson&Johnson toiletries: especially yg kaler purple-white tu.. it soothes babies and makes them go to sleep.. hehe. macam ubat tido lak. bt yeah, berbaloi. compared to anakku ke pureen ke sume harge mungkin lebih kurg same but this is the best... buds products and mothercare products pn okey jugak tp lagi mahal la.. hehe. this one is consider cheap and i dont regret buying at all. :)

5 baby related products that I REGRET buying:

1) Pacifier: bought a few already...sbb awal2 dulu ingtkn zara layan, rupenye die tak suke pn... rugi saje... heh
2) Esprit stroller: tak ingt d price tp tak smpai rm500 kot. zara doesnt fancy this from the very beginning... and sbb die dh biase dgn babybjorn kot.. im letting this go! hehe. sape nk beli i jual half price... :) zara penah pkai skali je kot... nti zara besar sket daddy dh tak larat bwk gune babybjorn, i nak beli mclaren. so i hav to let this one go first! hehehe.
3) Mothercare smart nappy: gediks beli yg utk newborn punye.. starter set dlm rm100 plus... tapi smpai sudah tak pkai pn... i think berbaloi if i make use of it... sbb sbnanye cun la jugak nappy ni i suke nmpk smart je.. ye la name pn smart kn...
4) Bumble Bee head support: ni mmg tak gune langsung sbb carseat tu mmg dah ade its own head support. if gune stroller mayb okey la kot...
5) Mams Bottle warmer: memang la tk bape mahal tak smpai Rm30, tapi rase rugi lak sebab tak gune pn.. penah gune skali je, tp cam tak membantu sgt... sape nk? i bg free :)

Just want to state here that, jgn ade yg salah anggap plak i letak letak brg mahal la... murah la... bace la dgn hati yg positive... ape yg tak elok buang, ape yg elok amek... bcuz tak kira betapa mahal or murah pn satu bende tu, they are all just material. what's more important for our kids is kasih sayang yg tak terhingga.. itu yg paling berharga skali... as i am also a daughter, sebyk mana harta my mom n dad bagi... without their love, guidance, and support... tak ke mana jugak kite.... btul tak? d bottom line is, we have to know how to prioritize and spend wisely! :)

First Pregnancy
